Improving storage spaces in the tri-state area for over 25 years!

YORKofficeEbony-250x250

Closet City provides custom space planning solutions for residents of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. You can also buy our products online and we can recommend an installer in your area.  Projects range from custom designed closet systems, wood cabinetry for walk-in closets, storage solutions for any room in the house including home offices and garages. Close City offers green, product solutions that can be important for small spaces. Closet City does a lot more than closets!

Step #1:  Planning your space

Our professional, home organization design professional will meet with you at your home to evaluate your personal needs. She has many years of space planning experience, and will consult with you about your tastes and concerns, creating your "wish list" for that space.  Detailed measurements are taken of the area(s) of interest, as well as a detailed list of what is currently found in that space (or what you hope to store there from this time forward) so that a storage design(s) can be individually personalized for you.

Our designer is also an expert in "downsizing".  We have worked with hundreds of clients moving to a smaller retirement home that must make every inch count. This is why we are the exclusive closet and storage solution company for many of the retirement communities in the tri-state area (PA / NJ / NY).

Step #2:  Choose a design

You will be presented with one or more custom design solutions for your needs.  Our designer will discuss in detail the reasoning behind the design and how it was created to help your area function more efficiently for you.  After you review the proposed designs, our designer will gladly make any changes or revisions that you discuss together.  Each project is a work in progress until you are satisfied that you have the best plan for your area!

After the design is chosen, you and the designer will work to make sure that the choices of material fabrication suit you (choose from laminate, pre-finished woods, paintable products).  Once the plan is completed and installation methods have been explained and agreed upon, our designer will make sure that any extras you might want have been included in your design (tie racks, belt racks, telescoping valets, or any of our numerous accessory items).

Step #3:  Fabrication

Your approved design is then custom crafted to the highest of standards with our state-of-the-art CNC machinery. Your design is captured in a computer file that is sent directly to our machinery to ensure that the utmost accuracy is achieved.  Custom finishing is then applied if applicable.

Step #4:  Installation

On the day of installation, our crew arrives prepared to install your new system. They protect your home by laying drop cloths in the travel lanes and work areas. The area is prepared for your new organization system.  Your closet system, cabinetry, or storage solution is carefully hand carried to the work area and installed with the utmost care and concern for your home and possessions.  Should any modifications or trim work be required, our trucks are fully equipped with modern tools to handle virtually any situation.

The installers then meticulously clean everything they have installed, and since our crews are equipped with hypoallergenic vacuums that capture any dust that might have been created during installation, they thoroughly vacuum the work area.  Most installations are completed the same day unless otherwise discussed and arranged.  Visit our "Professional Installation" page for more information regarding our crew's skills and qualifications.
