Our green solutions are popular with LEED certified Green Builders, homeowners that have their own personal mission to go green, and persons with allergies to certain woods, stains and finishes.

Green Building Materials
Closet City offers materials that reduce the amount of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) in your home, yet still offer the strength, durability, and creative options you desire when organizing your possessions.
Our earth friendly solutions are made from materials of sustainable woods and loc VOC finishes.
We are a distributor of YORKTOWNE CABINETRY products who was awarded the KCMA Environmental Stewardship Program for salvaging 100% of their hardwood waste for the production of renewable products, air filter usage for reduced use of heating oil, product testing certifications and much more.
Eco-Friendly Finishes
Seven colors and finishes are currently available with NAUF (No added Urea Formaldehyde) and a water based ultra low VOC finishes. For more about Volatile Organic Compounds see our list of links for resources below.

Sustainable, Renewable Woods
Closet City can construct your custom cabinetry, closets and storage solutions in materials that are made of renewable woods such as bamboo. Bamboo wood is a sustainable and extremely renewal building product. Closet City is planning to offer more renewable wood products soon.

Our Professional Space Planner are available for INITIAL CONSULTATIONS OVER THE PHONE to minimize time, energy and gas spent with on-site consultations or client visits to the showroom.
ONLINE REVIEW CONSULTATIONS- To provide an interactive service as well as to reduce the need to print and mail project designs our Professional Space Planner will review your 3-D designs via the phone and Internet.
REUSE & RECYCLE - we reuse pallets, boxes and paper.
